I had fun on Saturday in Edinburgh on an Independence march with mummy, daddy and my little sisters. I got the coolest face paint ever. Next year I want a big blue flag to wear too.

Tonight we were allowed to bring along a parent to Beavers and make a robot together. Most people brought their mummy but a couple of us brought our daddies. This is the very special robot Thomas and I made together. I called him Darth robot!

Daddy made me a dressing up costume tonight. I think I am going to like his new sewing machine!

Swimming

I can swim properly now. I managed two lengths of the pool on my back without armbands on Tuesday. That's the best I've ever done!

I'm a Beaver now

I've been a Beaver now for three weeks. I have the uniform and they've been letting me try archery. It's fun. I can't wait till I make my promise, so I can get a necktie and woggle like my best friend Fraser.

Yesterday Thomas decided I was old enough to be added to the chef chore rota at our house. After all I am 6 now! So I got to make dinner for the first time for the whole family. I made stuffed peppers with Swedish cheese and rice. It was nice. Mummy and Thomas loved it. The rest of us thought it'd have been a bit nicer with less pepper and more mince though!

Mummy and Daddy have bought us three and Charlotte fleece pyjama suits for the winter. I love mine so much there is nothing else I want to wear at night. I really want to buy one for them and for Marcel as I think everyone should have one. They are so cosy!

Whitelee Windfarm

We went to the windfarm yesterday. It was awesome. I ran around pretending to chop down the windmills with my sword. Cool!

I really like face painting. I'm so glad my face skin isn't sensitive like when I was little any more. Up till I was 4 I couldn't have my face painted because I kept getting sore spots. Now I am cured I am making up for lost time!
Mum says Charlotte has never had her face painted - she always refused when she was wee - how crazy is that!?
